In rare cases, certain plugins may include limitations, typically related to features such as templates, demo imports, or external services that depend on direct API connections or active subscriptions with the original developer.

When a plugin relies on the developer’s servers to deliver content (such as templates or demo data), those resources may not be accessible without a direct license from the developer. The same applies to external services like cloud-based features, CDN integrations, or asset optimization systems.

Aside from these specific cases, the plugin itself remains fully functional and can be used without restrictions.

Most plugins do not enforce these types of limitations, and whenever possible, clear notices are provided for items that do. However, due to the large number of products available, not every plugin can be individually tested.

Feedback from users is always appreciated to help identify any undiscovered limitations. When an issue is confirmed, efforts are made to find a workaround where possible. If no solution is available, a clear disclaimer is added to inform users in advance.

How to install and configure Wordfence Premium<
Before installing Wordfence Premium, follow the steps below to ensure all features work correctly.

If Wordfence Premium is already installed, deactivate and remove it completely, including its database tables. If needed, export your current settings so they can be imported again after the new installation.

Start by installing the free version of Wordfence from the official WordPress plugin repository.

Once installed, click on “GET YOUR WORDPRESS LICENSE”. You will be redirected to the Wordfence website. From there, select “Get a Free License”. If a popup appears offering a paid firewall subscription, choose the option to wait for delayed protection. Then enter your email address and submit the form. The license key will be sent to your email.

Copy the received license key and return to your WordPress dashboard. Click on “Install an existing license”, enter your email address, paste the license key, and activate it. A confirmation message should appear once the free license is successfully applied.

Finally, go to Plugins → Add New and upload Wordfence Premium. If prompted with a message indicating the plugin is already installed, select “Replace current with uploaded” to complete the installation.
