How to set up automatic updates in your Dashboard

1 min read

Automatic updates for the themes and plugins purchased from Gpl WordPress are available by installing the Gpl WordPress Update Manager and entering your update keys. The Gpl WordPress Update Manager lets you conveniently activate and manage all your Gpl WordPress update keys from a single interface.

Your update keys are available in your order confirmation or within your account.

The Gpl WordPress Update Manager can be downloaded directly from the Menage Update Keys/Gpl WordPress Update Manager tab in your account.

Once your update keys are activated, updates for your premium plugins and themes will be delivered directly within your WordPress dashboard, just like standard WordPress updates.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Make sure the item name and update key are entered exactly as shown in your order confirmation or inside your Gpl WordPress account.
  • All update keys must be added through the Gpl WordPress Update Manager and not within individual plugins or themes. License keys provided by the original developers are separate and not connected to the update keys issued by our system.
  • Any license key prompts within plugins or themes can be safely ignored. License keys are not required to install or use these products on your websites, regardless of the number of installations. They are only needed to access support and updates directly from the original developer and do not affect the core functionality.
  • An automatic update system for the Gpl WordPress Update Manager is currently in development. Once available, new versions will appear in the WordPress dashboard updates page like any standard plugin. Until then, updates must be installed manually by downloading the latest version from our website and following the instructions in the Gpl WordPress Update Manager Guide.
